What we support
No point in promoting fluffy aspiration. We only craft solutions for people making real progress in one of our ten target areas.

For clients to unlock value from the good they do, they must be doing something and they must be doing something good.
So, no point in promoting beliefs or ambitions: only those firms going beyond belief.
And the work they’re doing should serve one of the Ten Targets for Corporate Good set out above: a proprietary list developed by the BB team from the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We don’t believe that any firm is ‘whiter than white’. So, we support clients who are making progress in one area, even if they’re not best practice in others. We want to encourage all efforts to advance in our Ten Targets.
We are attuned to the risks of greenwashing. To deal with this, we have a five-part policy that determines who and what we work with. It stretches from legality to legitimacy:
Centre on the specific – our solutions are designed around specific cases of good in a client company, not broad brush statements.
Focus on facts – all our solutions incorporate data density as well as emotional intensity.
Prioritise the regulated - we prioritise clients that apply recognized frameworks such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), or the ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) under the EU’s CSRD.
Harness external assurance – we work with agencies and advisors who act as external verification of claims and data presented by clients.
No laggards, no moral off-setters – we do not serve clients that maintain below sector standard practice in one area while attempting to promote their advances in another.
